Labor Day Visit to the Hospital

Cody got sick. We woke up to these two visitors gone. Then we are all eating food at the hospitals radiology department with a lady who looked green. Then she is checked into a room. Doctors are coming and we are cracking jokes, making people laugh, and making Cody hurt because she was laughing. She goes into surgery, Wylie and Amanda go to Costco while Brando and I sit in the waiting room staring into the distance. Then we get costco food and feel like we are on Greys Anatomy while we are sitting in the hallway with lots of hospital beds. Doctor comes out, all is well, he doesn't want any snacks. Cody gets back, she is loopy, saying crazy things, see here for some more details and videos of her. We left so she could sleep, but apparently she was faking it so we wouldn't feel bad.

After the hospital we got a call from the Gerrads. We decided to go up Bountiful Canyon to roast some hot dogs and marshmallows. We thought it was going to be a little off roading and a half hour up. Well, with there 3 kids in our car with us and 45 minutes later we were up in the mountains into some pretty sweet off roading. This is the rig we were following. After we got into 4w low the kids started to get spooked and we couldn't quite make it up one spot. So we thought, we are just going to stop here, they will see our lights stop not a big deal. We needed to head back to the hospital anyways. Well, we keep telling the kids stories waiting for the parentals to come back. they finally came back... Jeff and Megan jumped out of the car and ran to us and hugged us... apparently Jeff went into panic mode. Jeff told Megan there was one spot we could have rolled down the hill and to look for noises or lights. We were all fine, just chillin. A little emotional moment, but all was well. We all went down after that. Amanda has been telling me that we haven't had any crazy adventure lately. She was glad we finally got one. We never cease to have fun with this family. We never want to miss an opportunity to party with them. Or as Max likes to say "Partay!"
