I just got done staying with the Madsen children while they parents went touring abroad with the Utah Delegation. The kids and I had so much fun together! On Sunday I made them steak and mashed potatoes for dinner, apparently I am a pro at making delicious potatoes (its because I am from Idaho and learned from the best, my mom) because they would have eaten them for dinner every night if I would have let them. Our 8 days together was filled with fun trips to Costco (my 2nd home) for lunch and ice cream, me bouncing them on the tramp, testing, watching HGTV and dance performances, laughing with each other, staying up late watching movies, and the occasional photo shoots. The kids and I were determined to get some good pictures for their parents, I think we did. Reagan and Tiny during came up with a nickname for me, its a mix of mumbling and saying "Mea". Or maybe its because I told them how Jack (my kid in Boise) use to say my name. Its great! I am definetly going through kid withdrawls... and the Madsen's guest bed is amazing!
I have a few more pictures that we took that I will try and put up later. Aren't these guys adorable!

My Good Friend Mitt........ 2012 Anyone??
Spent the Day with Mitt
It began with an a morning discussion on 'where America is going' The day then went to a fundraiser lunch (so I might have been working during both of them, but who wouldn't want to be). Listening to Mitt just gets me excited, excited for the future and what is to come. He always gives an optimistic outlook. Mitt explains his ideas in a way that makes me always say "well, duh why would anyone argue with that." He spoke alot about free enterprise, and what you can do for your country, not what your country has to/or needs to do for you. Mitt makes me proud to be an American!

A Typical Trip To Snowbird
On the way up this old school motor home just had two camping chairs and a grill sitting on top. On the way back down a couple of dudes hanging out after a great day of skiing. It was from Colorado... looks like they had to come all the way to Utah to get 128 new inches of snow in 12 days.....
Then we had the hitch hikers.... what did every dad teach his daughters... never to pick up hitch hikers. So we didn't. Sorry if you were one of them..
Despite our "serious" faces, we had a great ski day! We love the sun!

Utah County Republican Womens Dinner
Senator Hatch
I was asked to fill a table for a federal Senator... filled it with college friends... table is almost dead center in the front.... after the speeches honoring Chris Cannon... a comedian... who asks for a man and a lady... my whole table points at me (like they should after I provided a free meal for them :)...) I proceed to make a fool of myself (I might have hissed)... I can't get the video to load maybe later... but here are some great pictures from the evening.
